We used Dakota Hogan to help us with selling our home in Lillington. From the very first encounter all the way to the end was exceptional. Dakota is truly such an amazing person to work with and I knew we had picked the right person for us!! She truly cares about every detail, very approachable, and comes with so much knowledge when it comes to selling or even buying a home. She doesn’t just treat you like a client, but more like family. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell, you will not be disappointed at all! Our home selling process may be over but we have made a friend out of it. We purchased a new build home with Riverwild in July of 2025. We had a great experience with everyone on the team. Starting with our realtor, Dakota,  she was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire process for us as first time home buyers. Constantly answering our questions, meeting us to look at different neighborhoods and floorplans, coordinating with the builders when we had questions or concerns. She was invested in our experience and seems to truly enjoy what she does! We are so grateful to her for being available whenever we needed help or any of our many questions, very responsive and never made us feel like a burden for not knowing! She is so sweet and genuinely cares about her clients and getting to know you! And would answer my many questions even at 9-10pm when I didn’t understand something. She also gave us SO many recommendations for things we needed for the home. We have loved working with her!!
The builders and other staff were also great. We worked with Chase, Josh and Connor on our home. We met with the builders early on in the signing process to discuss and confirm the changes to the floor plan that we made after framing. They were awesome in accommodating some changes for us and getting things done quickly before the home was too far along to change. During our blue tape walk through and final walkthrough we worked with Connor. He was so diligent and detail oriented when walking through our home to ensure everything was done properly and to his standards. Talked us through everything and answered all of our questions. We loved working with him! He sent people out the day of closing to fix things that just weren’t done quite right and was able to get almost everything completed by that afternoon! We are so grateful to him for taking good care of us during our final stages of the home buying process and ensuring quality work was done! We overall had a great experience with anyone we worked with at RiverWild!!

As first time homebuyer I was so nervous about entering this whole process. I knew finding the right realtor would be key in us finding the best home for our family. My husband and I knew what we wanted and we were nervous a realtor would push us in a direction we weren’t comfortable with. When my husband told me he started talking to a realtor I was shocked, I wasn’t sure we were ready yet! But i agreed to chat with her and we started looking at homes. Dakota Hogan from the beginning took so much time and care to listen to what we were looking for but never rushed us or pushed us in any direction we were not comfortable with. She made herself so available to us to answer questions and show us homes as many times as needed and ask the builder all the questions we had (and they were plenty 😅). She helped us see that buying a home was so much more attainable than what we thought and now our family will be closing on our first home at the end of March. She was also so sweet and patient with us always bringing our kids to look at homes with us! I truly always felt like we were going out to look at homes with a friend. I have never been one to do reviews but RiverWILD and Dakota Hogan were so good, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t. My wife and I recently purchased a home through RiverWILD Real Estate and Dakota Hogan our Realtor was AMAZING! No, really. She was absolutely the best!!! She was so invested in us and helping us find just what we were looking for. Before it was all said and done we had Dakota all over the place trying to help us find our home. We felt so bad. But not Dakota… The ultimate calm, cool and collected one. She was always there and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we were okay. I can’t say enough amazing things about Dakota Hogan!
We were down in North Carolina in April looking to rent for a year while we transitioned from NY. We were driving through the Ashcroft Community and saw signs for the Builder’s promos to buy. We reached out to RiverWILD via website and within 3 minutes got a call from Dakota. She knew we were on limited and met up with us within the hour to tour houses, find out what our wants and needs were and explore multiple opportunities with us.
We contacted  lender that she suggested and sadly the lender didn’t seem very invested in explaining things to us and having open conversations with us as first time home buyers who sadly , just needed a little hand holding. She got us in touch with a different lender and Casey and Sharon were amazing.  Left no t uncrossed and worked with us.
We had ultimately decided that for what we wanted we weren’t finding our home.  Dakota did not give up.  She kept us current and in the loop and sent us new options and made it her mission and o find us our home. Ultimately we decided on a townhome for a starter and love the community and houses there so much that we are excited within the next couple years to build with the help of Dakota.  We are moving down in July to our very own home, because a realtor who knew we needed a home, and had thought of renting, took the time to explore all options and made buying a home instead, a no brainer.  She is kind, responsive (at all hours! I don’t know how she does it) and very knowledgeable.  We are hoping to get friends and family to make the trek down within the next couple years and have told them all about Dakota and riverWILD.  We are forever thankful for our realtor, and now friend, Dakota! We hired Dakota when we became in an unfortunate spot, and had to find a new place to live in a hurry within a week. She had multiple places for us to look at and drove two hours to show us each one.
